We were joined by two of our Beyou Fantastic Five make-up ambassadors, Stephanie our highlighting master and Sarah our skin prepping queen who unpacked their beauty kits bursting with Charlotte Tilbury, Huda Beauty and all things fabulous.

The St. Martins Lane events dream team transformed the apartment into a goddess boudoir and invited bloggers and influencers to enjoy midweek cocktails, makeovers and manicures!

The girls were all so lovely, each with their own unique and individual style which made the makeovers even more fun and emphasised the beauty of Beyou…being your own kind of BEAUTIFUL.

Bridal Beauty Base Tricks – Part 2

Every bride wants to look her absolute best on her special day. It’s not just a BIG day, it’s a long day, so makeup needs serious staying power! Using their hero beauty products, the pro make-up artists from Beyou, the make-up artist on demand app, share their tried and tested tips to keep make-up looking fresh and fabulous the whole day long:

3. Ace of Base:

Lexie Taylor: ‘If you want long lasting, good coverage, I personally love Mac Studio Fix Foundation. It’s fairly heavy duty, but can be mixed with a little bit of moisturiser and blended well for a lighter coverage if preferred. This is especially great for wedding makeup (I have seen many brides cry and it does not budge!).’

4. Clever Concealer:

Lexie Taylor: ‘I am obsessed with MAC Select Cover-Up concealers. These are a make-up artist’s favourite for their kits. Not only do they cover blemishes amazingly, they also do not budge!’

5. Blend & Fix:

Sarah Williams: ‘A Beautyblender or sponge creates a base that lasts a lot longer as you’re pushing the product into the skin. Just remember to wet the Beautyblender first so all your product doesn’t just absorb into the sponge.’

Anna Baxter: ‘Finally, finish off your look with a setting spray for extra durability. Try cult product Urban Decay All Nighter Spray, or NYX Matte Finish setting spray for those on a budget.’
